RBC Family and Small Business Summit

March 2, 2020

The Watertower Grill is proud to announce owner/operator Ram Khanal is speaking at the RBC Family & Small Business Summit.“I’m so happy to be sharing the stage at the Small Business Summit,” Ram said. “I just love meeting and talking with people who have a passion for business, and our province.”On March 13th, RBC is hosting their annual Family & Small Business Summit at the University of Lethbridge. Their purpose is to offer a space where budding entrepreneurs can listen and interact with business owners and innovators that have found success in their fields. By bringing together small business owners with students and other community members, attendees will see the opportunity that starting, or working with, a local business can create. It’s through events like this that our business and entrepreneurial communities can grow. But more than that, the community can guide young people into the fold. Ram hopes that by getting up there and telling his story, he can encourage others to get out there and start following their passion. Tickets for the event are free, and available now.

Sharing at the summit

At the event, Ram will be talking about his journey from his tiny village in Gorka, Nepal to becoming a restaurateur with three, successful restaurants under his belt.“My life has taken me all over the world, and I’ve learned so much from that experience that I love to share,” Ram said.At the event, Ram will take the stage during the first Presenter Series. He’ll be joined by fellow foodservice entrepreneurs: Angel Harper, Co-Founder of Mocha Cabana; and Marci Stickel, CEO of LA Chefs. After presentations, each will have time to take questions from the audience. So, if you have any burning questions about the foodservice industry, or how to start your own restaurant, this event could be your key to breaking in.
